Dog, cat, and child know how to use and prefer the dog door.
Alex
Alex got on Madison’s pillow with her and then requested “cover up”.
After dinner treat -yummy!
Alex has always loved his bath. After we added this Thomas toy he refused to get out for bed.
Alex entertained himself while I cooked dinner…
Guess who went to see the Easter Bunny today?

Alex loves to dig in the dirt, but doesn’t want any rocks in his pile of dirt.
He handpicked them all out.

Alex was really happy to share his pretzels with Madison. (She loved it too.)
I’m so proud of my 25 month old son. He took apart his first mechanical device today. Wade and I were cleaning up the dishes from dinner while Alex was looking out the backdoor (or so we thought). We turned around to find him holding the door closer and pins.
Alex lined up all of his people on the window sill and then said “hospital” over and over.
Alex hard at work.
Alex refused to nap without his book in the bed and wanted to look at it again the minute he woke up.

Don’t mind us. We’re just a month and a half behind with 2 year pictures.
Alex and Madison help test out my new lens.
All the kids were sent home early from MDO today and Alex got to take an uninterrupted nap in his bed! (MDO naps are only 1.5 hours long at the most and Alex is a 2+ hour napper.)
Alex’s latest obsession is Curious George (or “Monkey George” as he calls him).
He is getting so resourceful….
I have no idea why Alex climbed in here, but we both thought it was funny.
(He even stayed there while I went to get my camera.)
Have snacks. Will travel.
Who wants to go to bed? Let’s play hide-Daddy-in-the-blanket instead!
Construction zone!
Alex decided to try my shoes on and play peek-a-boo at the same time.
Look out pedestrians! Alex and Abram have hit the sidewalks.
Alex wasn’t too happy about Tabit stealing the cars off his race track. He kept telling her “pillow”, which is a command Madison follows.
We made a stop for dinner at Steak ‘n Shake. Alex loved the hat and car given to all the kids. Too bad all the Steak ‘n Shakes left Milwaukee.
Basketball. Basketball. Basketball.

Bored in a hotel room? Never.
Enjoying the park in Greenville.
Ready to fly to Atlanta!
Alex trying out Daddy’s hard hat.
Alex is a bike riding fool – maybe we’ll try one with pedals soon.
Last week we found out Alex had a double ear infection – with no symptoms. He sure loves his medicine.
After MDO snack – and only the second time he has agreed to eat oranges.
Alex loves to be read to. I wouldn’t mind at all if he ended up reading like I do.
Worn out from helping Daddy shovel snow.
Daddy and Alex.
How do you dress you child for a playdate? (The hat was Alex’s idea, but I thought it was adorable.)
Alex still loves Moose best of all.
Alex takes his job of feeding the animals very seriously. (And if it were left up to him, he wouldn’t stop at filling the bowl with two scoops.)
Trains. Trains. Trains.
Group snuggle after a good long play in the snow.
