These two worked together to make cinnamon donut holes for breakfast.
Kaitlyn borrowed a boardgames from school for the weekend and has wasted no time in playing it over and over.
Our neighbor has a new puppy and my kids are spending all their time next door.

As of this weekend, all of the kids have their own Fortnite accounts. I love the usernames they have picked for themselves. Kaitlyn’s username is Candysparkle. (They all have random numbers after the names as most usernames do these days.)

Kaitlyn decided to make breakfast this morning – pancakes! Alex wanted to supervise (but Kaitlyn was having none of it!)
The past week, Kaitlyn and I have been reading a book together – an old favorite of mine from high school.

These two decided to have some fun with the morning chores – plumping the couch cushions took much much longer than normal.
Wade got a new toy and the kids loved playing with it all evening.

Kaitlyn has a huge book project due this month and her first step was to draw a new book cover.
Kaitlyn spent last night at Great Wolf Lodge with a friend. She came home visibly exhausted. She lasted through the afternoon but crawled up beside me and took the first nap I have seen in a very long time.

Teague was so excited to get a plane ticket for a visit to Memphis this summer.

Kaitlyn was so excited to return to her room and see that the housekeepers had used her sleep mask as part of the bed decorations.
Kaitlyn can see animals from where she is staying and she loves it!
Kaitlyn and Wade had plans to swim in the pool while they waited for Granny and Pop to arrive, but it turned out that the water was extremely cold. They decided to work out instead.
Kaitlyn is on her way to Disney for a few days with her grandparents and she is so excited! (Wade is flying her down to meet them.)
Ben’s new I Spy book was fun for everyone tonight.
This gun (and the goggles) have been the favorite toys all week.

We had a family movie night and I was once again amused by how my kids watch movies. Kaitlyn is in constant motion bouncing all around the room.
Kaitlyn is itching for extra money and extra electronics time lately. That means lots of extra chores – and a very clean house for me!

The littles were having a blast burying Teague under all the pillows and blankets this morning.

These two have been doing a lot of Lego playing together recently. It’s adorable.
