Electronics for all!
Sunday church best. Alex is wearing Ben’s purse for him. The minute Ben saw Kaitlyn’s purse he wanted one too. Kaitlyn was nice enough to get one for him that matched his outfit. He carried it all morning but didn’t want it for the picture.
Teague ending his day with the dreaded teeth brushing.
Teague had a field trip today to Old Sturbridge Village and one of my friend’s was nice enough to send me a picture.
Teague looks rather large on Kaitlyn’s scooter, but they were all having a great time outside.
This doesn’t look comfortable, but Teague took quite a long nap just like this.
Hotdogs for dinner!
It’s Fun Fair and the entire family has been drafted into volunteering. (The boys are on parking duty.)
We go through so much milk we squash the jugs to make more room in the recycling bin.
Chocolate icing for chocolate cake – then he covered it all in mini chocolate chips. A chocolate lovers dream.
Teague is making cakes for the game “Musical Cakes” at the Fun Fair. Today he learned to flip a cake onto a cooling rack.
Sometimes I see some adorable sibling moments.
he slip ‘n slide was a huge hit today!
Dressed in their summer Sunday best.
The boys (all three) love avocado toast. This year they have learned to make it themselves.
The sneaky nap struck again.
Teague’s class had a field trip today to Community Harvest. They planted seeds and plants for the local food banks.
Ben’s preschool had a graduation ceremony and picnic this evening. We had a wonderful family evening before rushing Alex to lacrosse.
Teague has been riding his bike to school everyday. I end up at the school many days for various reasons. It always makes me smile to see his bike parked in the bike rack.
Evening truck ride around the yard. The kids love it.
Teague spent part of his afternoon helping Wade with the last of the mulch. I think a shower is definitely in order.
Summer is here!
Hot dogs for dinner
Killing time till dinner and then electronics, but at least he’s showered and clean.
Field Trip Day! Teague’s class walked part of the Freedom Trail and Wade got to be a chaperone. What a day!
Bonding over grilling.
These guys spent the evening swinging and playing in the sand.
Some days Teague is more into pictures than others.
It’s early evening so of course Teague has already showered and is waiting for dinner so he can get to the gaming portion of the evening.
Their favorite combination – the trampoline and the blower.
Teague tried a new recipe and it had a lot of steps and made quite a mess. Thankfully Teague is quite good at cleanup.
It’s a cookie-almost-every-night-kind-of-week.
These kiddos snuck upstairs for some electronics while Ben was busy playing Paw Patrol downstairs.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Saturday morning cartoons.
Date night for Mom and Dad means all the kids play electronics together upstairs.
Just swinging around…
These kiddos are working on Mother’s Day gifts for Gram and Granny.
I had a meeting tonight and was running out of time to make cookies to take. Teague came to the rescue. (Everyone always likes Teague’s cookies better anyway.)
Teague has chosen to ride his bike to school lately regardless of the weather…
The Simpsons book – again.
Yup, the same book again.
Chocolate cream pie coming right up.
Teague takes his shower in the evenings, but it’s a tricky thing. We only allow electronics in the window between dinner (which isn’t a set time) and bedtime (which is set in stone). He tries to stay ahead and sometimes wants to take his shower at 4 – which is fine. Putting on pajamas and then not going out to play – that isn’t okay.
Morning chaos – One unloading the dishwasher, two eating, another still in bed.
(Time is 6:30 am)
These laundry baskets belong to Teague and Alex. The deal in our house is you bring the laundry basket downstairs to the laundry room when you need laundry done. (Or in Alex’s case, you can also just do your own laundry.) I was a little surprised when these showed up today. I did laundry right before leaving KY!
