Only chocolate chip pumpkin bread will convince Alex to have breakfast on a school morning.
Pretend cooking at its best.
Tuesday after nap – a slow wake up.
I got the kids changed and packed up for swim classes tonight. Then I thought to call and see if they were actually having swim tonight (there have been some renovations on the pool the last few weeks). Turns out no swim classes. We turned right around and went back inside.
We had a power outage during dinner tonight so everything go a little more interesting.
Transitioning back to our normal routine has been a little rough.
Ben was having trouble putting on his shoes. Then I realized he had on five pairs of socks. We finally settled on wearing three to school. (When I picked him up he had removed several more because he said his feet were sweaty.)
This boy has been stacking pantry items for years.
The boys playing Fortnite. Wade is joining then from another device downstairs. Ben is begging to play but he’s going to have to wait quite a few years.
Granny is here!
Family hike on this gorgeous day.
Creating ramps everywhere.
The kids were introduced to Fun Dip this Christmas.
Remote controlled items were the thing to get in our house this year.
Headed out to the Christmas Eve service.

Breakfast with Santa.
Waiting for the bus on a rainy day.
Leftover, cold pizza – all my kids love it for lunch.
Ben arranged his cars and then requested the picture.
These cars have been around since Alex’s toddler days and they are still a favorite.
Ben is still taking 3 hour naps. He would probably sleep longer, but I cut him off at 4 pm in hopes that he goes to bed at the same time as the big kids (and it usually works). Most days he is agreeable when I wake him up, but occasionally he’s grumpy till I mention milk.
These kids and their iPads crack me up…
It has been months and months since Alex joined in on Saturday morning cartoons.
Ben was excited to help prep for Movie Night at the school.
Ben is loving his new racetrack.
We got a new game and these two love it.
These two were really excited about Kanga’s (the elf’s) hiding spot this morning.
Ben loves his new sunglasses – they even fit over his glasses!
Ben was so nervous to meet Santa. He kept saying, “I’m so nervous will you go with me?” Afterwards he proudly said, “I was brave!”
Games in front of the Christmas tree.
The tree is trimmed!
A little scribble scrubbie time this morning.
Family movie night
Sometimes these two are so cute together.
Ben convinced the teacher to read him another book at the Hot Chocolate Bar for the book fair.
I pulled out the Christmas books today and these two spent forever reading and looking.
