Kaitlyn has everything necessary for a good nap – blanket, lovey, pacifier, and most important – a moving car.
Kaitlyn
And the group grows by one!
If only Kaitlyn was as excited about this as Iris.
A little hotel snuggling with Daddy.
Watching while Mom does a little computer work.
Big brother singing a song to Kaitlyn.
Holding head up (consistently)? Check.
Sibling love.
Daddy’s girl.
This snuggle bug is wrapped up in three blankets – in the summer!!
Testing out her play mat.
It’s an odd picture, but can you see how long her hair is in the back? Too bad she doesn’t have an equal amount in the front!
10:45 pm – when I put her down at 7 she was completely swaddled with only her upper face showing.
After sleeping through our morning activities, Kaitlyn decided to at least crack her eyes at lunch time.
She sleeps just like her daddy – with her feet out of the covers.
Aunt Emmy came for a visit!
Loving on Kaitlyn.
Kaitlyn is starting to remind me a lot of baby Alex (in terms of behavior).
My little toad frog.
Napping under the picnic table.
A girl and her dog.
Baby socks.
Snuggles with Aunt Lissy.
Today everyone napped.
Awake and ready to play.
Trying out the newborn cloth diapers – great fit.
Someone decided it was playtime instead of bedtime.
Baby belly button.
Kaitlyn is not exactly a fan of Alex’s new skill with the pacifier.
Sleeping while the boys splash in the pool.
Big brother so proud that he stopped the crying.
Waiting patiently to see the doctor. (2 week check up)
Snuggles with Daddy.
This one loves her swaddle (and Dad is by far the champion swaddler).
Sweet dreams.
Newborn pictures happening now!
He just might be the world’s proudest big brother.
I wanted a picture of Kaitlyn’s tiny little feet. She wasn’t interested in having her picture taken.
Ten tiny fingers.
Lazy summer day.
Alex as a baby would only sleep in his car seat if he was in a moving car. Thankfully Kaitlyn seems to be a more typical baby and can be moved from the car without waking.
Today we had an awake and happy little girl!
It has worked out perfectly that I don’t yet have a piece of furniture for this corner of our bedroom.
The basement scene as I headed to bed.
Those lips. That nose.
Happy 4th of July.
Day 2 of life and the pacifier was definitely needed.
