Kaitlyn decided muffins were needed. She had her recipe ready to go this morning and started baking right after morning cartoons. The recipe of choice was Double Chocolate Love Muffins. I knew when they came out of the oven something wasn’t quite right. They looked delicious but more like a chocolate chip muffin and not a chocolate chocolate chip muffin. I asked Kaitlyn how much cocoa powder she put in, 1/2 cup or 1/2 teaspoon. She got a look on her face and verified she only put 1/2 teaspoon. That definitely explains the color of the muffins. They still tasted great.
