We let the kids have a lot of input into the plans for the day on their birthday. Kaitlyn had her entire day planned out. She wanted to start the day with Danish star bread, which we did.
Next up on Kaitlyn’s birthday agenda was a trip to Chuck E. Cheese. Granny and Pop were supposed to fly in early this morning but had quite a delay getting a rental car and eventually were able to join us as we were playing games.
When we got home, Kaitlyn couldn’t wait for cake and presents. Her favorite gift was definitely the roller skates from Granny and Pop. They will be perfect for her party in a few weeks.
