When I took the picture below, Alex was definitely my favorite son. (Favorite son status definitely changes minute by minute.) I was having a rough afternoon with another son and had just wrapped that situation. Alex walked into the kitchen, took one look at me, and said, “Cookie dough?” He then presented it on bended knee.
