Our church had a St. Patrick’s Day Karoake Party. We loved it!
Ben
In case there were any doubts, we got plenty of use out of Pepper’s cone.
Poor Ben. He’s going to be that kid that realizes in 7 years that he has never had a working controller during the hours and hours of video games he thought he was playing.
Watching Daddy leave for work.
Wade and I made these blocks for Alex when he was little. They haven’t been touched in years, but suddenly they are a hot toy again.
It turns out our refrigerator is magnetic!
The happiest kid on earth.
Homemade cookies (made by Teague and Kaitlyn) are the best!
The happiest kid!
Napper.
Morning quiet time while everyone else hurries out the door.
Hump day.
This is what Ben does during Ballet lessons – rolls on the floor and eats snacks.
It was a fort-in-the-kitchen and lunch-under-the-table kind of day.
(I promise that they were really excited about this. Their faces were annoyed because they had to stop playing for the picture.)
I’m pretty sure he’s about to fight me if I try to take that apple.
It’s rare that we get a family snow day, but the stars aligned. We even built a snowman!
The prince – wearing a princess crown.
Aren’t we the motley crew rolling in for swim lessons?
These days, we call it a win if his butt is in the seat.
Ben was definitely here. (But where is he now?)
These two disappeared on me and when I went to find them they were quietly reading books together.
Today we sorted Legos – as a family.
Ben loves Pop.
Proficiency with utensils can’t come soon enough.
The youngest is definitely loving birthday donuts.
It’s February break week – so I bought them all the things. Today it was blinky flashy things.
My three little bakers making muffins to start our day.
Making new friends.
Sunday coats – and they are all toggle coats. It might be that Mom loves toggle coats.
Naptime books.
How does he know to do this? Where has he ever seen a real phone?
Cars go beep.
Dragons.
Every morning Ben eats his own breakfast. Then he crawls up in Teague’s lap and eats part of Teague’s breakfast too.
I chose the pants. He chose the accessories.
Favorite winter pants.
He has carried this baby around all day. He got really excited when he found a baby bottle for her.
That’s not his toothbrush. The big boys have not yet learned to put away their tooth brushes after each use.
Ben was definitely here.
(Sorry dogs.)
Nap is over!
General morning chaos.
Rub-a-dub-dub
Yup. He’s eating. Again.
Ben discovered this toy at playgroup and it was one of his favorite Christmas gifts.
Peek-a-boo
Morning.
The desired quantity of Veggie Straws has exceeded normal toddler snack container sizes.
I have been wrangling Ben during ballet class for months and it never once occurred to me to build him an enclosure. I bring Teague once and he solves the Ben problem immediately.
Evidently I was a little too slow cooking dinner. I walked in the living room to check on Ben and found that he had helped himself to a huge bag of Veggie Straws.
(Also – I need to consider child locks for the chip drawer.)
Look what Ben found!
