Ben was having a snack and Teague was entertaining him. But when I turned back around, they had somehow eaten an entire container of blackberries.
This little guy did great for his first night with no pacifier.
Knowing that I will soon have a much bigger kitchen, I was excited to finally find a learning tower for Ben.
(Hopefully Wade can get it painted before we move.)
It’s a rare family photo – and we’re all dressed up too!
They insisted it was warm enough to wash my car. Who was I to argue?
Sleeping babies are the best.
This toy has been around for all the kids and has always been a favorite. I still won’t be sorry when Ben has outgrown it. Noisy toys have their place but this one’s song has gotten quite old over the years.
Most people would be annoyed this was left in the middle of the floor. Ben is excited to have something to climb.
Ben has been stealing Teague’s breakfast again.
Sometimes he sits so sweetly in my bedroom and allows me to get things done.
Hardcore biker.
Dyeing Eggs!
She’s just trying to keep him safe, right?
I did a double take when I saw these two sitting together. I’m not sure why Ben wanted to sit with Alex, but I’m even more impressed that Alex allowed it.
Yearly checkups for the big boys.
(Ben got to tag-along for fun.)
Another unexpected nap in an unexpected place.
He loves his food. He definitely has no texture issues.
(Today we had Pho)
I answered the phone and realized Ben tried to steal my lunch.
He knows the oven mitts are needed to get things out of the oven. He just hasn’t figured out that the amount of time in the oven is predetermined.
You know it’s serious when he gets two cups.
(Or you know Mom has given up fighting the strong willed child.)
Goober.
This has just become our new norm.
Babies feeding babies.
Ben obviously can’t wait to start helping his siblings unload the dishwasher.
Our church had a St. Patrick’s Day Karoake Party. We loved it!
In case there were any doubts, we got plenty of use out of Pepper’s cone.
Poor Ben. He’s going to be that kid that realizes in 7 years that he has never had a working controller during the hours and hours of video games he thought he was playing.
Watching Daddy leave for work.
Wade and I made these blocks for Alex when he was little. They haven’t been touched in years, but suddenly they are a hot toy again.
It turns out our refrigerator is magnetic!
The happiest kid on earth.
Homemade cookies (made by Teague and Kaitlyn) are the best!
The happiest kid!
Napper.
Morning quiet time while everyone else hurries out the door.
Hump day.
This is what Ben does during Ballet lessons – rolls on the floor and eats snacks.
It was a fort-in-the-kitchen and lunch-under-the-table kind of day.
(I promise that they were really excited about this. Their faces were annoyed because they had to stop playing for the picture.)
I’m pretty sure he’s about to fight me if I try to take that apple.
It’s rare that we get a family snow day, but the stars aligned. We even built a snowman!
The prince – wearing a princess crown.
