We ended up making great time yesterday and driving later than we planned so we drove almost 13 hours. That left us only 2-3 hours or so from Milwaukee. We always seem to get up early so we planned a shopping stop at the outlets and then a stop in Milwaukee at American Science & Surplus. Wade had told the kids all about the store and they were excited to see all the crazy stuff inside. I gave them each a budget of $10 and it was hilarious to see what they chose – Toucan Sam, a bag of pyrite, Funko Pop, and a dragon warrior. Then we still had a bit of time to kill before our agreed time to meet up with our friends so we headed to a local park. The little kids loved it and the big kids hung out with me. The rest of the day we hung out with our friends and I didn’t take a single picture (crazy, right?). The moms did leave the kids and go with Nicki to try out her workout place. I can see why she likes it!
