Ben had a morning soccer game before we made the round of birthday parties for the afternoon. Ben discovered a few weeks ago that he loves to play defense. The funny part is they don’t really teach offense or defense at this age and there are strictly no goalies, which Ben also likes to assign himself. We had a long talk before the game about nobody playing defense and trying to after the ball. He gave it a pretty good effort and only hung out in the goal once.
Then I had a dinner out with some friends. We were celebrating a birthday and had a fabulous dinner with lots of laughs.
