Ben and I were almost to the ball field when the first rain drops began hitting my windshield. No rain had been forecasted so I was hopeful there wouldn’t be much more than a few sprinkles. The game began and the rain intensified. After all the players got a chance at bat, the coaches called it and sent everyone home.
