Our 9 hour drive took us almost 14- due to many, many reasons. The kids were awesome and read, played iPad, and slept – sometimes at the same time. My favorite was when the big boys actually took a nap together.
After our first day driving last week, we realized letting the kids have unlimited iPad time all day might not be a good thing. When we stopped for the night, Teague had such a sore neck that he was crying in pain. Now we have mandatory breaks during the day.
