For some strange reason, Alex and Teague both had the day off school. Wade decided to take the day off work and we planned a grand adventure. We strategically arranged the car seats to get everyone in the same car and drove downtown for lunch and the Field Museum of Natural History. It took a while to get downtown, but the kids managed to pass the time.
The boys loved the actual museum. Alex has been asking to go for ages and couldn’t wait to see Sue the T. Rex. Teague is happy to go anywhere and loves maps. He carried his map the entire day and for about 24 hours after we got home.
