Today we arrived at Woodford Reserve bright and early.
This facility was much “prettier” and more polished in appearance than the last. Wade could explain all the reasons. I still enjoyed the old buildings and traditions of bourbon-making, but disliked wearing the headsets (the group was less than 10 people!).
Then we were on to Four Roses Distillery. Wade and I were both excited for this tour – mostly because this is one of Wade’s favorite bourbons. The tour guide was very new (we were his second tour) but even allowing for that it was a pretty sad tour compared to the other places we had visited. Did I mention there was no chocolate at the end?
