What can you expect at Gram’s house but ice cream cake for breakfast – especially when she didn’t get to come to Platte City for the boys’ birthdays due to multiple snowstorms in Paducah? The boys were more than happy to have the unusual breakfast, a few surprises, and a fun piñata. Kaitlyn thought all these shenanigans were hilarious!
Before too long Granny and Pop arrived to pick up the boys for a week of fun. Then Wade and I packed up the car for our week away – first the SEC tournament in Nashville and then a portion of the Bourbon trail in Eastern Kentucky while Kaitlyn stayed with my Mom.
