Alex’s new obsession is boats. He has smoothly transitioned from only wanting to fish to wanting to build a boat. (Don’t worry. He still wants to go fishing all the time too). Wade finally told him he would have to be as big as Wade to build a real boat. Until then he can ask Mr. Jeff to take him fishing in his boat and toy-sized boats can be built at home.
I love having a husband who can make wishes and dreams come true. Their first boat to build was a rubber-band powered paddle boat. (Then of course a bath was needed to really test it out.)
