A few weeks ago Alex wanted to dig in the backyard for buried treasure. Wade agreed and even supplied the shovel and wheelbarrow. When Alex was called away for a few minutes, Wade got the chocolate gold coins from our candy bowl and buried them a little deeper in Alex’s hole. Imagine Alex’s surprise when he actually found buried treasure! Today Alex and Riley decided to dig for buried treasure in the same spot. I had Nicki encourage the boys to take a water break and added a little “loot” to their hole. They were so excited when they found treasure. (Wade comes up with the best ideas!)
