We’ve recently let Alex start staying up a little later than Teague at night. We read them both a few books and then put Teague to bed. Alex is allowed to “read” books for a little while on his own. Sometimes he comes to get us and sometimes we tell him when it is time to turn out the lights. Most nights he comes to get us within 10-15 minutes. Last night I looked up and realized he had been in his room reading for almost 45 minutes (and of course I had been reading my book that long too – oops).
