Alex had a double birthday this morning for Abby and Lily (and Teague was invited too). He knew there were going to be animals and he couldn’t wait to get there. We arrived only to learn that the animal trailer had gotten a flat tire on the interstate. Thankfully they arrived before the party was over and everyone still got to pet the animals and ride the pony. (The last pictures is Alex with a turkey. He sat and petted the turkey for over 20 minutes – the only child to pet it. That’s my strange child.)
Then after a nice long nap for the entire family we headed for the dog park. Wade was smart to suggest rain boots for everyone. We’ve had a lot of rain and there are areas that get very muddy near the stream. Alex loved “hiking” and even picked me a bouquet of flowers!
