Amy and I had great plans to take the kids apple picking, but it turns out there is no apple picking in Southeast Wisconsin this year. Our early warm weather followed by freeze yielded 10% of the normal crop. Most places are still selling apples so we went to an orchard and let the kids “pick” apples.
