Snow is falling and I am finally feeling in the Christmas mood. Alex happily played with his balloon (best toy ever) while I worked in the kitchen:
After Alex was asleep I got serious and tackled the wrapping:
Then I attempted to make a gingerbread house from scratch. It has taken double the dough and much more time and effort than I expected. Not to mention it is still going to require quite a bit of strategically placed icing. Next year we are buying a kit.
Tomorrow we’ll actually get around to decorating it!
