Alex and I were up and playing by 7:30. He obviously doesn’t know that Saturday means you can sleep a little later than usual. He has a new blanket/rug that is fantastic. It’s heavily padded and perfect for the occasional fall backwards. I found them in Paducah and they are made by Bestever.
Alex was a happy boy today. He watched me cook baby food and then took a nap while I mowed the lawn (hopefully for the last time). Then he played in the yard while Wade and I cleaned out the garage – a car would actually fit in it again!
I have been looking for a way to store Alex’s bags and coats. I knew what I wanted, but couldn’t find it in stores. Wade offered to build me one and now we have it up:
Then we decided on an evening out – dinner at Habanero’s and bowling. Alex was great through both and seemed fascinated by all the people and noise at the bowling alley.
