Bedtime books.
Teague
Today Teague was finally allowed to love on Kaitlyn again.
Breakfast buddies.
I should count how many hours a day Teague play with Legos.
This one – always with his hands in his pockets.
These two…
I love library days.
I’m not sure what Alex was doing over my shoulder, but he got great laughs out of Teague and Kaitlyn.
Instead of reading books, Wade has been making up stories (with requested characters) for bedtime. Tonight the boys wanted another story about Emerald, Chitter, and Chatter – all fairies.
A little reading before bed.
I was in my basement office when I thought I heard footsteps upstairs. I assumed Teague was up from his nap and would come to my office like normal. I kept hearing footsteps and 15 minutes later went to check on him. He was quietly playing legos in the living room.
Teague’s new blue car has been in his pocket (during waking hours) for the last three days. We definitely don’t leave home without it.
Teague tried so hard to make tummy time fun for Kaitlyn. He even brought out his new blue cars.
B gave this blue viper to Teague and he hasn’t let go of it since – even to nap.
Harper and Teague were inseparable this weekend.
Cousins one month and one inch apart.
Chauffeuring his youngest cousin.
Teague had a huge tantrum in the car last night about 20 minutes from Paducah. He lost the privilege of riding in B’s silver car for the morning. He’s taking it pretty well, but he has sat next to the car all morning.
There’s nothing like making a 7 hour road trip and then taking two tired kids to Michael’s to pick up a few last minute supplies for a surprise party.
I just know Teague is thinking, “Really Mom? Another picture?”
We love googly eyes in this house!
Family pictures.
Wade and I left Granny and Pop in charge while we went out on a date!
It’s been two years to the day that we met Teague for the first time!
Washing cars.
Seasonal trying on of clothes.
Snuggles.
My six favorite feet.
S’mores – messy just like they are supposed to be.
First soccer game of the season!
Reading.
Bedtime shenanigans.
Is it possible I am going to have two left-handed boys?
Playing with the baby’s toys – again.
Nose to nose.
Snuggling on the couch.
Taking charge of the wheelbarrow.
Teague wanted Monkey swaddled just like Kaitlyn.
These guys seem really excited to watch me iron.
Teague decided to keep Kaitlyn entertained by pointing out her nose (over and over and over).
Funny face.
Soccer practice number two for the week. I can only imagine the schedule once games start – thankfully now we are only about 10 minutes from our house.
The boys requested matching shirts after I already had Kaitlyn dressed. With everyone in gingham, I decided we needed a picture.
Family trip to the sunflower fields.
These guys told me they were cold and wanted to snuggle.
When Teague heard that Kaitlyn was still a little small for the Bumbo, he decided to try it out.
Evidently Teague’s snack was a little sticky and resulted in drinking his milk without hands.
Playing around waiting for Alex to get off the school bus.
Happy Labor Day!
I haven’t seen this stoplight since my birthday in 2012, but the boys had a blast with it this afternoon.
