This one is quite tired of having someone else brush his teeth. If only he could figure out how to reach the back teeth.
Teague
Evidently Madison won the coin toss for the couch today.
We decided to watch Aladdin as a family. Teague loved it – except for the scary skinny man. Then he ran to play with his truck for a while.
Wade treated the boys to a haircut at his barber shop. Teague still said it “tickled.”
Just out of reach.
Alex really wanted to read Kaitlyn her bedtime book. When Teague realized the book was about a car, he wanted to listen too.
Wednesdays are for making cookies.
Wade’s out of town for a few days. That means Kaitlyn and I have to take Teague to school in the mornings.
Teague reassured me numerous times that he was not scared of the movie but preferred to watch it from his hideout.
This only lasted about 60 seconds, but Teague was so proud.
Why yes. We did give them two bottles of bath foam and told them to have fun.
For over an hour those two sat and played together in the living room (by themselves) while I cleaned, put up laundry, and did other things around the house. At one point I realized they were snuggled together and Teague was showing her “blue car.”
This kid and his belts.
Teague was trying really hard to “help” Kaitlyn play with her toy.
Bedtime books.
When you are really good at the eye doctor you get a milkshake.
(It doesn’t hurt when Mom wants one too.)
Wade has gotten the boys into old school games. They now request pac-man, mario kart, or sonic before bedtime.
Don’t all good camp outs end with Ducktales, granola bars, and apples?
Every now and then you just need a campout in the basement.
Monkey see. Monkey do.
Alex wanted a whole apple because I was taking care of Kaitlyn and didn’t have time to slice it for him. Suddenly Teague wanted a whole apple too. To their credit, they both ate the entire apples.
“I’ll protect her.”
“Don’t worry Mom. The bathroom will be fixed in a minute.”
Teague.
Wade declared this one of his favorite Christmas gifts.
It should come as no surprise that Teague is using the customizable Monster Truck kit to paint his red truck blue.
This boy.
These guys set up their own grocery with some of their new Christmas items.
Nevermind that it is 10 degrees outside. The boys love their new jeep and have made numerous trips out in the cold to ride it!
Brothers.
Can’t you just see how hard it is for him to wait?
Teague in “silver car.”
Another road trip. Another nap.
Making chicken noodle soup for Granny.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a little pouting.
(He wanted to help Wade and Alex label the tops of my spice jars.)
Pizza for lunch!
These Little Ceasar Pizza Kits (school fundraiser) are amazing and I would have ordered a freezer full if I had known.
Making bouncy balls.
(And only this three year old would have the patience to stand in the same spot for 10 minutes waiting till the timer beeped.)
Showing Granny Christmas songs on Mom’s phone.
Brothers.
It’s a glow-accessory kind of night.
Sibling love.
These boys couldn’t wait till after Kaitlyn’s morning nap to get out in the snow. When I came downstairs I found them playing out on the walkway – with no shoes!
Another day. Another eye appointment.
Teague had his Christmas program at school today. He even knew most of the words to the songs.
Snuggles with Daddy.
We kind of love sitting in front of our tree.
Wade got his Christmas present early. The boys were as excited about the hedge hog as Wade.
The gumdrop (or Dot in our case) tree makes an appearance.
Even mid-tantrum he is the cutest, santa-hat wearing boy I know.
These boys love their daddy.
We skipped nap for a playdate today. I looked over as I was cooking dinner and realized Teague had fallen asleep sitting up.
