The boys love their Saturday mornings with Daddy – especially when Cinnamon Toast is on the menu.
Teague
Reading to his monkeys.
Taking control.
Waiting for his bedtime books.
What happens when you send a 2 year old to get some tissue.
Somebody is loving his shower.
Playing in the snow with my boys.
He’s a natural!
We were watching the evening news and there was a blurb about the ice in Memphis. Alex wanted to call Pop and tell him not to plant any apple seeds right now because they wouldn’t grow in this weather. (Where does this stuff come from?)
We broke out the Santa hats today.
Teague has gotten a lot of shoulder rides from Daddy lately. Now he likes to carry monkey around that way.
I need to get some presents under our tree. The dog, cat, and both boys think it is a great place to play.
It’s that time of year – Christmas pajamas!
Tree decorating.
GaTech didn’t win, but at least we had cheese dip.
This was Teague’s favorite hide-n-seek spot of the last few days. (I was pretty impressed when Alex first used it.)
The Macy’s Parade kept the boys entertained while I cooked our Thanksgiving meal.
Napping at 38,000 feet.
Teague hasn’t let go of his monkey since Granny put it in his hands. He feeds it, gives it turns on the iPad, and today Monkey needed to color a picture.
Daddy did a little drawing on Teague’s hand.
Life in a hotel room.
We decided to go to Portsmouth for the day. Teague was a trooper and pretty content as long as he had monkey and someone’s hand.
Ready for surgery.
Teague had his pre-op appointment today and even got to use his new knowledge of letters and their names.
Headed to Boston.
Granny brought new books and loveys!
Teague pretending to sleep.
(I completely forgot to take a picture today until the kids were already in bed. They’d only been there about 30 seconds so I went back in with my camera.)
This is how I found Teague reading a magazine. Obviously he wanted to be sure he had plenty of light in case the power went out.
Reading to Scooby.
Dr. Alex is on the job!
Alex memorized the words to Teague’s latest library book and now he “reads” the story to Teague at nap and bedtime.
Alex was drawing so Teague wanted to draw too.
Silly things always happen when Wade gives baths (which is most nights).
We got snow today!!
The boys love to blow up these balloons and then watch them fly all over the room.
(Madison hates it so she was left inside and the boys took over the sunroom.)
Anytime I talk on the phone (to anyone), Teague will repeat “my turn” over and over.
I knew the boys were having a campout in the living room, but I was impressed to see they also built a campfire.
Alex’s “homework” required the entire family to decorate a turkey feather.
Just walking in the rain.
I walked in from cooking dinner to find Alex and Teague attempting to play a game together.
Little photographer.
The boys came to cheer me on at the race this morning.
Sleep over in Alex’s room.
Guy time.
Happy Halloween!
“I’m cool.”
Working on his car.
Alex ate a whole apple so Teague needed one too.
Fighting over the candy bowl while waiting for trick or treaters.
Pumpkin carving party 2013.
