Alex has lots of patience with Kaitlyn and her fascination with his glasses.
Kaitlyn
This one has been on a bottle strike for days, but when I gave her some banana today she inhaled it.
I love the way my boys love on their sister.
First bottle of the day – at 4 pm. I’m thinking she might be a touch sick. She’s still all smiles though.
Granny made Kaitlyn the most beautiful dress!
First cereal. She didn’t hate it but she didn’t eat more than a few bites.
Floor snuggles.
She almost has the sitting thing down – then this happens.
Trying to teach Kaitlyn to walk.
A very typical Kaitlyn pose lately.
The cuteness.
We tried to cut down our own Christmas tree today, but it wasn’t meant to be.
Three little monkeys sitting in a row.
(Kaitlyn loved her new seat and sat contentedly the entire time the boys ate breakfast.)
We were the only two in the room and I know I put her down on her back. I didn’t actually see her roll but this time I’ll give it to her.
Those eyes.
Teague definitely gets more laughs from Kaitlyn than anyone else (and got her first giggle too). Today he would put his head on her tummy and she would laugh and laugh while grabbing his hair.
She’s not quite sitting up on her own, but she’s close.
I’m thinking overstimulation?
Just making sure her new stocking is big enough.
Baby walkers are only dangerous if the baby’s feet can touch the ground, right?
Meeting old family friends.
Snuggles.
Someone found her feet.
Kaitlyn was ready for bed pretty much as soon as we got to Granny and Pop’s house.
Hi.
She’s already developing a “taste” for books.
This girl loves to stand. (And it’s completely normal at 4 months that she can almost do it by herself, right?)
First night sleeping under her new wall art.
A little bonding over a bottle.
Gram reading books.
Hangars. The new favorite toy.
This one is always chewing on her fingers.
Little sister.
“What do you mean GaTech lost the ball?”
(Kaitlyn loves to watch football with Daddy and is normally very content in his arms watching the TV.)
Tiny red shoes.
Evening swim lessons cut into bedtime for Kaitlyn but she was happy to just stay snuggled in her carrier and smile.
Kaitlyn has now progressed to holding toys and occasionally bringing them to her mouth.
Bright eyed.
Camouflage baby.
Alex changed her diaper….
Just sitting on the couch.
I left Kaitlyn like this and when I looked again she was on her back. Teague insists she rolled over by herself but I have some doubts.
I am so thankful for a happy baby that is content to sit and watch the craziness of our life.
Kaitlyn’s 4 month checkup.
Weight – 13 lbs 4 oz (40%)
Length – 25″ (75%)
Kaitlyn is normally in bed before dinner, but this is what our table looks like when she joins us for a meal.
It turns out our sinks are baby-size.
Three.
Siblings.
Happy Halloween
(from the elephant)
Kaitlyn still loves her baths.
