We have had the craziest weather lately. It has been VERY warm and everyone has enjoyed being outside this week.
Kaitlyn
I came to tell Kaitlyn goodnight and couldn’t find her. She was in her little “nest” trying to use the rest of her iPad time – after bedtime. Silly girl.
Making pizzas for dinner.
Sunday Lineup. Because it’s fall they wanted to pose on a hale bale.
Granny sent a Halloween box. Amazingly, all the kids were home to open it and call her to thank her.
These guys can’t wait for Friday nights and a new episode of Lego Masters.
Fun Run today!
Girls On The Run again today. That means more bracelets!
On crazy school nights, we watch TV all together.
Kaitlyn came home today with a Stargazer award for Responsibility. She was very proud and couldn’t wait to tell me that two of her teachers had nominated her.
Sunday lineup.

Ready for school.
Ben and I decided to show Kaitlyn the view from the top of Mount Watatic.
Saturday night movie night.
Ben was on a mission to make donuts this morning. It meant a second breakfast for Kaitlyn, but everyone was happy to partake.
I walked in to find that Kaitlyn had been playing with my old She-Ra dolls. I find it hilarious she loves them so much – especially because she has never seen the TV show.
Kaitlyn came to Teague’s cross country meet today and he immediately scooped her up and ran off.
Kaitlyn is loving Girls On The Run. Today they got a bracelet for every 3 laps. She was very proud of her 5 bracelets.
Amazon wish books have arrived. I’m not quite sure how or why we got two, but it made for two happy kids.
Kaitlyn was so happy to help me out with some little chores today.
Sunday Lineup.
Every season change, we have to do a little trying on of old clothes to see what fits or what needs to be bought. Kaitlyn normally does this with the least complaining, but even her patience normally runs out before we are done.
Normal evening craziness.
Monkey Balloon Pop – everybody’s favorite evening game.
Half-days are made for playdates.
Kaitlyn convinced me to buy the “special” Lucky Charms. She was so excited to see the dragon marshmallows transform she even wanted to put milk in her cereal. She hasn’t had milk in a couple of years (in any form).
Some days, your brother’s toys are just better.
Sunday lineup.
This is what after school looks like. One making a snack. One cleaning up from a snack. One doing homework.
Our school had its annual back to school picnic tonight. There was an ice cream truck so of course the kids got dessert. The cotton candy was bigger than their heads!
Kaitlyn checked out the princess cookbook from the school library (again). She really wanted to try almost every recipe but settled for just a few. Tonight we made Fa Family Lo Mein.
We are finally getting the tree in the backyard cut and the kids were so excited to watch.
Bedtime routines.
Kaitlyn has spent all afternoon and evening creating and playing with pipe cleaners and mini dinosaurs. The plan for tomorrow is to go by a craft store to buy more pipe cleaners so the fun doesn’t have to stop.
Sunday lineup.
Kaitlyn had another full day of sports but was still all smiles and full of energy.
Dress rehearsal before the first cheer competition tomorrow.
These two made a massive pillow fort.
Last year Kaitlyn wore athletic gear 90% of the time. This year it appears we are back to dresses 90% of the time.
Gymnastics today!
Kaitlyn and Ben had a snowball fight and it was adorable.
Kaitlyn had a birthday party today and had the best time.
Kaitlyn had her first soccer game today and spent the second half playing goalie.
Kaitlyn informed me she was a Moon Goddess and would grant me anything I wished.
We decided on pancakes for breakfast today.
Kaitlyn is loving 3rd grade!
