Teague was pretty proud to have Granny in the front watching him at Taekwondo today.
Month: June 2018
Kaitlyn loves the extra time she gets with Granny while the big kids are in school and Ben naps.
Ben eats what we eat and meat is always a favorite of his.
This boy wants to move so badly. He is desperate to crawl and is so close to being up on all fours.
Ben is currently 6 months.
Alex crawled at 9 months and walked at 13.
Kaitlyn crawled at 7 months and walked at 10.
After dinner video games are everyone’s favorite part of the day.
Ben and I had some quality play time this morning while the rest of the house slept.
We’ve been so excited to have Granny visit and even more that we get to keep her for a few more days!
I was blown away when I walked out of Ben’s room this morning to find these two playing in the dollhouse. (It tends to sit mostly forgotten for long stretches of time.) They were perfectly color-coordinated to each other and the dollhouse so I ran to get my camera.
Teague is showing some real talent at goalie (not that I actually caught that in pictures). It’s getting fun to be on the sidelines!
These boys were champs in helping around the house today. Now if only I could get this much help every week!
I’m glad he can find some fun in the cleaning we did today.
She’s dressed and waiting to leave for the airport.
He only has eyes for Granny.
This picture obviously wasn’t taken this week since Kaitlyn is in Memphis but it reminds me of one Judy sent me. Kaitlyn is in a very similar position in her living room chair. Overall Kaitlyn has done pretty well with dropping naps. However there are definitely days when I find her curled up on the couch or in a chair for an unplanned nap. (The late afternoon car trip is also guaranteed to put her to sleep.) Alex never went through this but he also napped until he was 5. Teague struggled with random sneaky naps and can still be found asleep every once in a while too. At home I try to enforce “quiet time” once or twice a week to help her mood and avoid late afternoon naps but it rarely works as planned.
Alex redeemed some chore points for iPad time today. It worked out well for both of us.
I visited Teague’s school today and he was so excited to show me his porcupine and habitat.
Kaitlyn is coming home tomorrow!! She seems pretty excited about her night in a hotel room tonight.
It was one of those mornings where Ben desperately needed a bath (I won’t tell you how many days it had been), but we ran out of time before his morning nap. I decided the need for a bath outweighed a happy baby. We had a super quick bath and then rushed to nap.
