Granny and Pop randomly send Alex a box of goodies. Most of the time a toy from Wade’s childhood is included. Alex found this truck in the box today and has loved playing with it.
Month: October 2011
Alex loves MDO. He talks about his teachers and the fun activities all the time!
I wear my sunglasses everywhere. If they aren’t covering my eyes then they are on top of my head. Somehow I got halfway to MDO and realized mine were at home (my spare pair in the car is currently missing a screw). I couldn’t wait to drop Alex off and then “borrow” his. I have a small head so his actually fit perfectly. Too bad they were heavily Spiderman themed.
Alex loves to climb onto the radiator in the dining room, raise the window, and wave good-bye to Wade every morning as he leaves for work. This morning he must have been leaning out on the screen because when he turned around he had a dirty nose. (Which probably means I should clean my screens.)
Wade has continued house hunting and found us the perfect house – almost. It has everything we said we wanted. The problem is it’s location – Oconomowoc. Everything I hear about Oconomowoc is great – the town, the people, the schools, etc. The problem is it is 30 miles from our current house, Alex’s MDO, our friends, etc. Wade and I have debated long and hard about this one, but have once again decided to stay put – at least for now.
Best friends working on cars.
One of Alex’s first finger foods was green beans straight from the can (room temperature). He asked me to open a can today and then started eating. I guess not much has changed. He still eats them like french fries.
Alex’s “Happiest Place On Earth”.
If you look closely you will see two things. 1) A dab of shaving cream on Alex’s cheek. He was interested in Wade shaving and got a little. 2.) A Curious George band-aid on his shirt. He has a tiny cut on his face and wanted a band-aid. Then he refused to have it on his skin and wanted it on his shirt.
