I knew the boys were having a campout in the living room, but I was impressed to see they also built a campfire.

Alex got to skip his nap today and decided to serenade me while I did my work.
I walked in from cooking dinner to find Alex and Teague attempting to play a game together.

The boys came to cheer me on at the race this morning.
The favorite game of the play date? Nerf guns.

Happy Halloween!
“I’m cool.”
The boys were so excited to get a treasure map in the mail.
(Thanks Granny. They loved finding the cookies at the “X”)
I turned around from cooking dinner to find a photographer catching my every move.
Working on his car.
Deep thoughts.
Alex ate a whole apple so Teague needed one too.
Fighting over the candy bowl while waiting for trick or treaters.

Alex’s first attempt at rock climbing. He loved it!
Teague was so excited to help Daddy with the rope. He even tried to mimic the movements of letting rope out.
Alex was so excited to explore the toy store and pick out a toy.
(Thanks to Gram for the Halloween gift card.)
Teague was quick to pick the little green race car and then took a while to choose a second toy.

The majority of Alex’s swim lessons are held in the “big” pool, which he doesn’t like. He has to work really hard to stay happy and earn a star. Today he asked his teacher if they could stay in the little pool because he really wanted a star (he was only one away from a tv show). She agreed and swim lessons were great.
Snuggles with Daddy.
Alex sharing a cantaloupe (which he won’t eat for me) grown in Steve’s garden. Steve loves to sit outside in the driveway and Alex loves to talk to him. It works out nicely.
Our neighbor, Steve, cut a cantaloupe from his garden and shared it with the boys.
Alex snuggled up with his favorite loveys – blue blankie, horsey, and moose.
Teague always requests that I put him to bed, but tonight we decided to mix things up a little.
A picnic dinner, roasting hot dogs in the fire, and a movie. Great Saturday night!
Two monkeys in a tree. (Alex has been wanting to climb this tree all week but we never have time on the way to school. Today it was a nice treat after nap.)

Alex on the way to the post office to mail his box for B. He drew two pictures and picked out a hot wheels car. Then he requested a box and told me we needed to send it to B. Of course we boxed it up and headed out to mail it.
Teague’s current favorite book is about shapes. He wants to read it over and over and over.
Lately Alex has been picking up adult books (meaning no pictures) and “reading” them out loud. It’s hilarious what he comes up with.
