Just two weeks ago Alex and I were doing the same thing at the same time. Oil change time.
LittleToadfrogs
Teague’s school had “Muffins with Mom” this morning. What a nice treat!
Talking to Daddy before bedtime. Thank you Skype!
A little Lego time with a friend.
Everyone was glad to be back home and in our own beds!

Granny said that both boys loved riding behind the tractor but Alex pretty quickly wanted to go inside to play with Wade’s old Legos.

This picture is the perfect one of Teague. Driving a car, but with ear protection. That boy is always complaining about things being “too loud.”

Granny and Pop took the boys to see the Lego movie. Alex is a little bit of a scaredy cat and doesn’t tend to like theaters. He was obviously willing to give it a try for this movie.

Alex talks about his “red car” daily. He knows it won’t come out till summer, but he still talks about it all the time. I decided to pack it up and take it to Granny and Pop’s with us as a special treat.

My crafty boy couldn’t wait to get to his “desk” and get to work.
Someone was excited to get to Granny and Pop’s and try out the new bike.
Alex was so excited for the warm weather and the backyard to explore. He even found “treasures.”
Almost anything out of Teague’s mouth these days has the ending “just like Alex.” So when Alex gathered treasures in the yard then Teague needed a collection too.
Now that I know his napping days are numbered, I can’t help put take pictures when he sleeps.
Enjoying books at Daddy’s place.
Alex’s happy place – LegoLand.
Teague loved the car-building area at LegoLand. He found these two blue car pieces and wanted a car created. I did the best I could (finding necessary pieces was hard!) and then he wouldn’t put that car down. He loved it!
I was so impressed with the boys. I had them sit in the car while I took Madison into the boarding facility. It took longer than I expected but the boys had each found something to entertain them while I was gone.

The boys really wanted to play a game, but I had to work on dinner. In the end they decided to play by themselves. It was quite hilarious to listen to them as they tried.
Teague is almost always asleep when I go to pick him up at MDO. This is one of the first times I have ever seen him actually on his mat.
Napping.
Seriously impressive bedhead.
My backseat.
(With our house on the market, I have to have two boys and a dog gone for hours at at time!)
Pajama Day at school.
Dance parties seem to happen a lot at our house lately (and are much more music/noise than dance).
Alex’s preferred method of using the snowboard.
Testing out the new snowboard (in 10 degree temperatures).
The boys first request this morning was for an airport. Wade was happy to oblige.
Backdoor drama and why some day I really want a mudroom.
How convenient that we can take care of both bus yearly check-ups at the same time!
Play-doh was the chosen activity for after bath tonight.

Alex got the promise of an art easel for his birthday but it only arrived a few days ago. He couldn’t wait for me to put it together so he could get to work.
Pop brought the boys each a set of random keys a few visits ago. I would say they are one of Teague’s favorite items.
It’s a working lunch. One is learning his letters. One is learning his numbers.
Bedtime books with Granny.
Bedtime books with Pop.
Lazy Saturday.
Somebody loved the stickers in his birthday card (Thanks Upshaws!)
Granny and Pop brought birthday presents with them so Alex got a few on Teague’s birthday.
Happy 3rd Birthday Teague!!
My instructions were to get dressed for bed while I went outside to salt the driveway. They actually did a pretty good job considering.
We decided to go sledding and met some kids with a snowboard. They wanted to use our sleds and my boys tried out the snowboard. Alex went a time or two and then was back on the sleds.
We decided to go sledding and met some kids with a snowboard. They wanted to use our sleds and my boys tried out the snowboard. Teague loved snowboarding. On his second try he made it all the way down the hill standing up. Then he kept making run after run until the family had to leave. Crazy!
