Teague and Daddy.
Teague
Loving on Kaitlyn.
Teeth brushing party.
Who wouldn’t want to roll their brother around in a big blowup ball?
This is how Teague came downstairs this morning. Alex swears Teague slept in the shoes, but I have my doubts about that.
Teague is learning how to put his shirt on by himself (telling front from back has been the tricky part).
Swim lessons.
(Note Alex in the background cheering for Teague.)
Alex is pretty good at convincing Teague to help with his projects.
We finally found a local pool!
Aunt Lissy taught Teague a new trick. (It worked much better after he understood you have to eat all the cereal before trying to drink the milk.)
Aunt Lissy came to visit and brought new books!
Do you see those red bumps on Teague’s feet? I’m pretty sure that’s hand, foot, mouth. That would also explain why he keeps complaining about his mouth hurting when it’s time to eat.
Storytime art.
Teague kept telling me it was too hot to be outside. He may have been right, but I still maintain getting in the pool would have helped.
My three munchkins.
In Teague’s world, even chickens make too much noise.
I was told today’s agenda included building a train.
The YMCA had their grand opening today for the new expansion area. Alex and Teague were very interested in the lazy river but not quite brave enough to try it without an adult in the water.
Fun in the pool after swim class.
Mail run.
“Doing electrical”
Today’s building project included a bank and jail.
He just might be the world’s proudest big brother.
Surprisingly, Teague didn’t get too excited about our racetrack adventure.
Haircut in the kitchen!
B’s here. Let the games begin.
Just swinging.
Granny did the weed pulling and Teague did the weed hauling.
Both of my boys have been fascinated by this coffee table book on old toys. (A random find in a box during the move.)
“I make really big mountain.”
(His legs are under the rug making a bump.)
The boys love when grandparents visit. The best is when they bring books!
Doesn’t everyone need ear protection for sparklers?
Boys and their cars.
Brother meets sister.
Someone drew all over the basement walls with blue colored pencil. Having to clean the walls turned out to be much more fun than punishment…
Teague has always been a car boy. His new thing is anytime someone leaves the house he wants to watch them “back up.” So once again today he couldn’t wait to get outside and watch the truck leave.
Testing out the new sailboat.
Checking things out.
“Monkey my baby”
My little painting pirate – who did not want his picture taken.
One boy towing another boy in a box. Just a typical day at the Burch house.
Library day.
Teague spent the entire ride home examining his new scrape.
Teague’s reaction to a thunderstorm.
(A really bad one – we lost power for about 5 hours.)
I love to find my kids enthralled with their books.
We got a new (bigger) pool today. It was the best afternoon!
“I no like thunder. I go hide in my room.”
We are logging lots of lego hours these days.
Broken AC at home means we spent a few hours in the nice, cool library.
Children watching TV. (i.e. making it easy for the neighbor while Mom and Dad make quick trip to the hospital to get checked out – no baby yet)
