Ben / Toadfrogs

Sports Win

Sports have officially taken over my spring. It was crazy the year Kaitlyn played soccer and lacrosse, but this spring may be even crazier. Kaitlyn has gymnastics (once a week) and soccer (twice a week). Ben has gymnastics (once a week), tball (twice a week), and soccer (once a week). Both of them have swim lessons once a week. That doesn’t include after school clubs, tutoring, and handbells (some of that is for the older boys). It’s a very busy schedule.

Today Ben had soccer. Quite a few players and both coaches were missing because of the holiday week, but the kids had fun and were cute to watch during their game. Ben played the first part of his game amazingly well. Then they put him on defense and he wouldn’t leave the goal (there are no goalies at this age) and refused to be put back on offense.

An hour later, we were at the ball fields for opening ceremonies of Little League. Ben was excited to see his preschool friends. Kaitlyn joined us in hopes of seeing her friend (Ben’s coach is her friend’s dad). It was a fun day. All the kids got to hit a ball. There was pizza, hot dogs, and bouncy houses.
