Morning chaos.
Month: April 2022
Who knew when we moved to the Northeast we would pick up a new sport for the kids? Kaitlyn did an intro to lacrosse last year and this year is on a real team with games. She seems to enjoy the sport. We were getting her ready this morning and realized we didn’t have any black pants clean so we went with bright pink. That turned out to be a great mistake because it made her very easy to spot on the field.
Everyone needs a 13 year old. Mine is especially great at carrying the laundry up and down the stairs.
These guys were determined to have the first fire. They enjoyed it and I enjoyed being inside.
Kaitlyn is all ready for her first lacrosse game!
Ben decided to write a letter to his bestie!

Our local ice cream place opened yesterday. The kids were super excited and begging to go. We attempted to go and couldn’t even get in the parking lot so we promised the kids a trip today. As we were getting in the car, Alex suddenly announced he was running and would beat us there. Then he was off. We all got a kick out of watching for him as we drove. He didn’t quite beat us, but it was close.

The kids are pretty much guaranteed to be outside if Wade is. Today Wade was determined to work on our rock wall. The town plows the sidewalks when it snows and the plow always hits our wall and pulls out rocks. Every spring we spend time rebuilding the wall.
