Alex has spent a lot of time lately drawing – especially Pokemon.
Month: September 2020
Headed to school- mask and all.
Ben tends to get attached to an objet (usually a toy) for a coupe of days at a time. Today’s prize possession was not a toy:
Alex looks like a true grown up here.
Teague has become Wade’s best helper.
The cutest phase – dresses, boots and boot socks.
Snuggles with KitKat.
Alex is loving all the extra computer time this year.
Just a boy with his iPad.
Today the kids were supposed to support their favorite Boston team by wearing a shirt or jersey.
Kaitlyn and I headed to the soccer field again today. I think we both enjoy getting out and socializing – at least a little!
I was in Alex’s bathroom today and the shower curtain was pulled back. I did a double take when I saw what was inside the shower. I realized maybe we needed to have a talk about when in the morning routine he should put on his deodorant.
Today we celebrated Korea Day and eight years with Teague. Every year we take this day to celebrate the day Teague joined our family. We take a picture in his Korea shirt. We eat Korean food (or in recent years it has become sushi for most of the kids).
Here are Teague’s pictures through the year.
Everybody is helping out in the yard today.
Snuggles with Daddy.
Morning after cleanup.
We decided that tonight seemed like a great night for an outdoor movie. Some of the kids were definitely more in it for the snacks, but that’s understandable!
The attitude…. (in a good way).
Magnets for the win!
This guy is always up to something.
Teague agreed to cook lunch for everyone today – pizza pockets. Having everyone at home is sometimes challenging and sometimes fun. (Leftovers never last long….)
Alex’s art wall is coming along quite nicely.
Pizza pockets coming up!
I found these two watching a Celtics game long after Kaitlyn was supposed to be in bed.
The pantry is such a fun place to play.
Ready. Set. Jump.
These two had a great time building with magnatiles all afternoon.
Schoolwork? Probably not.
These two cooked dinner tonight (courtesy of Raddish recipes).
We decided on chocolate chip pumpkin bread for breakfast today.
We were rather excited that fall sports are still happening – even on a limited basis. There are only four teams in Kaitlyn’s soccer age group and they are required to wear face masks the entire time they play. Each player can only bring one adult (who must also wear a mask) to field and no additional spectators are allowed.
Kaitlyn had a great time and was extremely competitive. She was determined to get the ball and was even one of the faster girls on the field!
Alex is working hard on his drawing wall.
It looks like he is doing homework on his school computer, but….it’s Saturday. Most likely he’s playing games or watching YouTube.
Ben picked his own socks today.
Kaitlyn brought home The Disney Princess Cookbook from the library at school. She couldn’t wait to make the Princess Pink Popcorn. (Just a heads up it – it was messy and nobody actually liked it.)
I love the help I get with unloading groceries (and the peace and quiet while grocery shopping).
Unwinding after a hard day at school.
She is ready to tackle the day!
