Ben and I tried a new jump place with some other mom friends today. Other than the fact that he needs a little help learning to figure out trampolines, we had a lot of fun.

Big brother Teague is pretty awesome.
We haven’t used a kennel for Madison in years. However, when we leave the house we often find her in the laundry room near Pepper when we return. Today is laundry day and the kids have to bring their dirty clothes to the laundry room. (Some of them use a laundry basket and some of them just toss.) Madison evidently decided that the dirty clothes made a soft bed to sleep on until we returned to the house. Madison’s hearing isn’t the best anymore so she often doesn’t hear when we come in the door so I was even able to grab a camera and get her picture before she realized we were home.

Ben has always loved music. Unlike my other children, he has also always loved to dance. He is quickly learning how to use Alexa, which is a little scary. I’m not sure what music he came up with, but he happily danced his way through lunch.

Kaitlyn’s soccer today was hilarious to photograph. It was 3% dance, 2% soccer, and 95% giggles. Her coaches are saints. Thank goodness for having a best friend on the team. I don’t think I saw Kaitlyn even near the ball once, but she had the best hour of her week!
Tonight my oldest put my youngest to bed. It’s pretty rare for Alex to take care of Ben. Sometimes he will play with him, but he rarely “takes care of him.” It was adorable to watch him change him, read to him, and put him to bed.
Ben is hoping Alex won’t notice if he sneaks just one.

In a shocking twist, I was actually able to volunteer in Teague’s class today. Parent volunteers were needed for their pumpkin lab. It was fun to see Teague with all of his friends and classmates. Performing experiments on a pumpkin and then carving it in the end wasn’t too bad either!
