In the blink of an eye, our nightly schedules are suddenly very busy. Kaitlyn has cheer two nights a week. Teague has soccer one night a week. On the weekends, we have Teague’s soccer game, Kaitlyn’s soccer game, and Kaitlyn’s cheer. I’m thankful Alex isn’t participating in any sports this season and Ben is too young. During Kaitlyn’s cheer practice, they quickly rehearse the cheers for the games and then also work on the routines they are learning for upcoming competitions.
Month: September 2019
Today Ben got to play! We had a playdate with some other Mom friends at a local play place. Ben had a great time and I enjoyed the time to socialize!
Everyone’s favorite reading spot.
Family checker game.
Ben and I went with friends to a play place today. He had a blast.
I turned around from cooking breakfast to find a well-padded Ben. I’m not quite sure what Kaitlyn and Teague were planning to protect Ben from, but he should be safe.
I love these kind of days.

I’m not quite sure how we started down this path, but Kaitlyn is participating in cheer this year. So far, she is loving it. We missed the first few weeks of practice due to our road trip, but she is picking it up quickly. Today was the first “game.”
Alex and Riley are talking over Alexa and it has deteriorated into some weird game where they are only showing each other their hands…
Teague got a new bike!
Kaitlyn has a new fall activity.
Ben is still into building towers – especially at the kitchen island.
