I just love a good costume – especially one that everyone in the family wears over and over. Teague’s helmet from his Halloween costume is turning into a family favorite.
Month: March 2019
This boy comes in from school and sits down for a snack and then does his homework immediately, without complaint. It was only three years ago that there were screams and tears at the mention of homework. Thank goodness we are passed that.
When we started taekwondo last April, these were on the long side…
Ballet lessons – with new leg warmers.
This is what Ben does during Ballet lessons – rolls on the floor and eats snacks.
I remember hating ballet class as a child. (I’m pretty sure I barely made it through a year – or maybe two?) However, I love watching Kaitlyn dance. She seems to enjoy class and I know she loves the outfits!
It was a fort-in-the-kitchen and lunch-under-the-table kind of day.
(I promise that they were really excited about this. Their faces were annoyed because they had to stop playing for the picture.)
I love it when the world is white outside!
We had some extra time today so the little kids got a bath in the big tub.
King of his castle – or at least that table.
Alex has been waiting for months and months and months for the latest “How To Train Your Dragon” Movie. It’s finally here so we snuck out to the movies. Kaitlyn was excited to join us.
(Teague doesn’t like the dragon movies so he stayed home.)
I’m pretty sure he’s about to fight me if I try to take that apple.
Snow days are just the best! We loaded everyone up, plus all of our sleds, and drove a few houses down to the elementary school. We had a great time playing in the snow, sledding, and even built quite a snowman.
My favorite part of the afternoon might have been watching Ben and his sled. He wanted to pull the red plastic sled and got quite upset if he dropped the rope. He dragged it all over the place for most of the afternoon. He is one determined little guy.
There’s a video too!
It’s rare that we get a family snow day, but the stars aligned. We even built a snowman!
These girls are the cutest when it comes to playdates. Most of the time they disappear into Kaitlyn’s room and only come out for help with outfit changes. Today they were tempted out to decorate cookies – unicorn cookies!
We were so excited when Alex agreed to take Pepper on a run tonight. I’m pretty sure they only ran out the driveway, but it’s a start!
I got a little help with dinner tonight!
Playdates are awesome. Cleaning up the remains – not as much fun.
The prince – wearing a princess crown.
