Ben has always loved bananas, but lately he eats an entire banana. I don’t just mean in the normal way. I mean an ENTIRE banana – the inside and the peel. He gets really excited when I hand him the banana. Then he turns it around and starts to eat it from the bottom first – peel first. Ben has been doing this often enough I even did some research into it. It turns out eating a banana peel is done in some countries and they are full of nutrients – but normally people eat them when they are very ripe because they taste sweeter.
