This was a packed day! Wade and Alex had to get to church early because Alex was performing with his handbell group during the service. Even bigger news – Ben was baptized during today’s service. He was a model baby and great about being held and sitting in church. He let Pastor John walk him through the congregation and didn’t complain about the water. I did take him down to the nursery before the sermon. Sitting still in my lap at 11 months is just not possible these days.
The second part of the day was filled with “Trunk or Treat” in the church parking lot. It had originally been scheduled for yesterday but was postponed due to rain. The kids loved decorating the car and accumulating candy. Even better that Granny and Pop were there to join in the fun!
