Granny is a wonderful cook, but my kids’ favorite (and probably mine too) is her Maple Nut Twist Coffee Cake. This has always been a special treat for Christmas morning, birthdays, and occasional random visits. Alex requested one for his birthday and Granny made it with his help. I decided to document most of the process (I forgot a picture of the final coffee cake but did find a close replica online.)
