These boys love their after school playdates.
Month: April 2017
The kids are still working on their Easter candy from Saturday.
The evolution of toddler play. They started out on separate sides of the room and ended up “painting” each other’s toenails.
Weird picture, right?
Kaitlyn was so excited when she realized she was big enough to wear her boy shorts. She immediately wanted to show me that they were just like the boys.’
I want to always remember this cheesy grin when he is so proud of something and simultaneously doesn’t really want to stand still for a picture.
(He had earned some awards tonight in Awana.)
Homework – the kindergarten kind.
Today the dance recital costumes were delivered. Someone was super excited!
This kid and his bowties…
A typical Sunday afternoon.
Our neighborhood has wonderful holiday activities and today was the annual Easter Egg hunt. The kids couldn’t wait to hunt for eggs.
Today we had our neighborhood Easter egg hunt and the bunny showed up for some pictures!
Sometimes they are nice to each other and sit quietly side by side.
Some nights call for a pizza picnic and a movie.
Successful trip to the library means new comic books for Alex.
When you have the day off school, you should definitely have sushi for lunch!
Everyone loves the library.
He saw Kaitlyn’s dots and wanted his own – like Ironman. I thought it was funny till I found a trail of blue dots on my floor from his feet.
Lately Teague’s been telling me he needs to go “talk with Monkey.” Then I typically find him like this.
We recently watched 101 Dalmatians….
These two – FaceTime at its best.
Today we learned many things while playing after school. 1.) Synchronized puddle jumping is almost impossible to achieve. 2.) Kaitlyn will fall in the water when given a chance – thank goodness for a spare set of clothes 3.) Teague makes the best puddle splashes but with the craziest faces.
This little after school play group has grown!
Kaitlyn was quite adamant that she needed to read her babies a book before she could take her own nap.
Madison decided to run away right as I needed to get Alex on the bus. Thankfully she finally joined us at the bus stop and I didn’t have to go hunting for her.
The kids thought it was lots of fun to have her with us.
After church.
Clay creating.
Breakfast for dinner – that they made themselves!
Little miss “I do it myself” stood there trying to get the jelly for a good 5 minutes before she would let me help her.
The boys and Leah played all afternoon and then begged to cook dinner. I decided they couldn’t do too much damage and let them go. They chose “breakfast for dinner” and did a pretty good job. Alex did the bacon. Leah and Teague made the pancakes (Teague read the recipe). It was pretty yummy and everyone had so much fun cooking together.
