She loves to clean and gets quite upset if I clean without her.
Month: March 2017
Some nights this is what happens when I try to take pictures.
Judo.
Judo!
My little shopper.
(The grocery is her favorite store.)
I walked into the playroom to find Alex playing battleships with Abram – 70 miles apart.
Today we sledded one last time. I had been hoping for snow all winter and March wasn’t too late to enjoy it for a few days.
At 12 years old, we taught Madison a new trick.
This one is always eating the snow.
This one is always figuring out how to do it by herself.
I had given up on any more snow this year and then today happened! We woke up to snow and I couldn’t wait for the kids to get out of school so we could go sledding!
We woke up to snow!
We woke up to snow!!
Skyping with Granny and Pop while finishing up ice cream.
Family reading.
(Note that Teague is holding his second lost tooth – which couldn’t be found at bed time.)
This face says, “Why are you making me clean up? I want to play, not go to bed.”
I’m thinking possibly tattoo artist?
This is such a typical picture of Alex lately. He sets the timer for 20 minutes (what he needs to earn 20 minutes of electronics) and then reads till the timer beeps.
This is one of their favorite activities. Wade loves a backrub/scratch and Teague loves to play cars.
I made the most awesome lunch – can you tell?
Only “Alla” would do when it came to tonight’s buttons. Thankfully he’s a good sport and an awesome big brother.
Class picture.
Kaitlyn had a lunch playdate with a friend from school. I would say they had a great time.
I can only imagine what scheme these three are cooking up…
I woke up to find these two had snuck downstairs and made cinnamon toast for everyone.
This is what “markers, stickers, paper” looks like most often.
Catching up on all their texts.
Jumpin’
Dress up queen.
We met up with our Milwaukee friends and completely took over the counter at the restaurant.
Teague was so sweet to try and get Kaitlyn dressed this morning. I waited till he wasn’t looking to put on her white shirt and turn her dress around the right way.
We picked a random Tuesday night to meet our Milwaukee friends in Kenosha for a little bowling. Who knew it was league night? We altered our plans and ended up at Choo Choo Charlie’s. With our huge crowd we were thankful to be the only people in the restaurant. We had an awesome waitress who went out of her way to make the kids happy with ice cream for dessert and cotton candy to take home.
I have no idea what the big kids did after school today because I was too busy watching the little kids. Kaitlyn and Liam were sharing a book and I couldn’t help but snap a few pictures.
Alex has decided to write a book.
Kaitlyn was begging Alex to read and he kept saying no. Then Teague offered to read for her. Sweetest big brother!
Marker? What marker?
Kaitlyn loves to arrange picnics – all the time!
I finally got Teague’s Bat Station built. We’ll see how long it lasts…
Teague lost his first tooth yesterday!!
Patiently waiting for everyone else to get ready for church.
I needed a test subject for some pictures of Wade and me. Alex was happy to oblige and then took the pictures for us.
Their faces! I would love to know what is happening on the screen here.
I walked away for a second and someone stole the milk from my cereal.
Tonight Wade and I attended a masquerade to benefit Teague and Kaitlyn’s school. We went out to dinner with our neighbors and then met some other friends at the Dole Mansion. What a great evening. There was a live auction, silent auction, raffle, and a ghost tour!
We’ve been making weekly trips to the library and Alex is hooked on Minecraft books.
Teague has been so patient with his birthday Legos. He got a ton of them and we have been slowly putting them together. This is the last of them – the biggest. He takes it out and looks at it all the time. Tomorrow we’ll build it!
This sums up Kaitlyn perfectly – a tutu and muddy tights.
Teague has become a daily baker – thank goodness. Today he wanted to make chocolate chip cookies. I helped minimally and everyone gets a yummy treat!
We took a walk as a family a few days ago and walked by the beach. We love it in summer but rarely visit it in the winter. I still found it gorgeous.
Having a little sister is so awesome!
(Kaitlyn was insistent that Alex needed some chapstick.)
