In all honesty, I didn’t take a single picture today. I drove three kids 12 hours, picked up groceries and a dog, and pretty much collapsed when we got home.
But here’s a picture from earlier in the week!
Month: March 2017
Someone was really glad to be back home with all our chaos.
We had planned to stay through tomorrow, but when a freak snow storm is headed your way you pack up a day early.
Alex does a kangaroo impersonation pretty well!
Today we checked out the Animal Adventures Family Zoo and Rescue.
Today we visited the Boston Aquarium. I loved the huge tank in the center with all kinds of fish and turtles! The kids loved the petting tanks – especially the stingrays.

The best days start out with pink frosted donuts.
Swinging in the cold.
Cereal – the lunch of champions (and hard to please little girls).

Most nights, Kaitlyn begs to give the boys “a hug and kiss” before getting into bed herself. It’s hard to say no, even when she waits till they already have their lights out to ask.
Hotels are awesome.
Three kids in one room. Thankfully they are all great sleepers.
These two had a lot of fun when we stopped for lunch.
6 hours into a 17 hour road trip.
Typical afternoon while Kaitlyn naps.
Ready. Set. Fire.
Ready for school!
This girl loves to help in the kitchen so I bought her a “real” knife. She cut strawberries for me all morning.
Right before I turn out the lights.
Snapshot from school.
First she scrapes her nose and then I tell her it is nap time. Life is rough when you are 2.
Teague and Kaitlyn’s preschool does both fall and spring pictures. This is one of the first years I have bought spring pictures. This picture captures Teague so well at this age!
Wednesday shenanigans.
Teague wanted to make cookies and I wanted to finish my book. It seemed like a good day to let him go completely solo. I did walk by to find him trying to fit a 1/2 cup into the salt shaker and we rechecked the recipe. Otherwise he made them entirely on his own and they were yummy!
“I do it myself”
She loves her makeup.

It’s kind of a typical Monday for us – playing after school and a little baking afterwards.
Ace dishwasher unloader. Every morning without complaint.
(It probably doesn’t hurt that breakfast isn’t fixed till after it is done!)
School buddies.
She always figures out the path of least resistance.

We went to Milwaukee for a game night with friends. The kids had a blast and the parents did too! We attempted a group photo and that went about as well as expected.
Gaming with friends – then a sleepover too.
Gaming with friends. These three were so excited for a group sleepover.
Two Queen Elsas.
Bus stop fun.
(Before I remembered the green.)
Cars. Cars. Cars.
Embracing the green.
Leprechaun trapping.
(They didn’t catch one and refused to drink the green milk he evidently left behind.)
