You’ll never guess what our church serves after services – donuts.
The boys love the chocolate glazed ones and Kaitlyn probably would too. Sadly I only let her have the donut holes right now.
Month: October 2016
These three were hard at work all day in the shop.
I can’t believe how often the boys still want to play with my McDonald’s toys – Hardee’s California raisins!
Helping Daddy move some wood.
I finally decided to paint Kaitlyn’s room. She was really excited to help move her bed into the other room and take her nap. She was not happy that the room wasn’t finished when she woke up. I don’t think she realizes this is going to be a several day process.
Wade pulled down a huge limb today and the boys were pretty excited to help him with the cleanup.
Teague and Kaitlyn’s school takes a trip to the pumpkin farm every year. Thankfully they were both scheduled to go on the same day and I only had to make one trip. Teague had a blast with his class and Kaitlyn was happy to see all the animals.
Teague has the cutest Kindergarten class:
Everyone needed gloves for the first time this morning.

Brothers.
In this house, we share.
This is the first pair of tie shoes Alex has ever owned (Mom likes the easy slip on Merrells). So at 7 years old he learned tonight to tie his shoes.
Today we made Rice Krispie Treats.
Figuring out what to cook for dinner – always a tough decision.
He dressed himself for swim class…

New library books with Daddy.
Kaitlyn no longer climbs on the table, but she still has trouble sitting still at dinner. We’ve tried her high chair and we’ve tried a traditional booster seat. Today we bought her a special chair. Here’s hoping it does the trick of getting her to stay seated through a meal.
Monkeys just hanging out.
Don’t shoot!
I’m pretty sure Kaitlyn is saying “SAVE ME”
A little Sunday morning reading.
A little Sunday morning reading.
We realized we have a crazy schedule this October and Alex doesn’t get a pumpkin field trip like the other kids. We decided to spend a Saturday morning at the Pumpkin Farm.
I love how much they love the tree house – even before it’s finished.
They call themselves “The Shades.”
Kaitlyn steals my phone any chance she gets to watch videos of herself.
Spooky Science Night.

A little late we are celebrating 4 years of Teague! On Sept 26, 2012 we flew to Korea to meet him and our lives have never been the same!
A typical scene about 10 minutes after Alex gets off the bus.
A successful playdate.
(Who knew Teague’s new buddy would be obsessed with Sonic and we just happen to have a costume and toys!)
These two have really been bonding the lsat few days.
(What you don’t see is that Kaitlyn is covering Madison in stickers from her new book.)
Kaitlyn has a love affair with stickers. We are working hard to remember to only put them on people or paper. Today she chose people…
Kaitlyn assures me that Madison is fine but needs a shot.
Ready for school!
Just hanging out together.
(And so excited for Mom’s picture.)
I’d like to say they dressed like this in anticipation of Halloween, but let’s be serious – this is because it’s Monday.
A little ballerina dressed up and waiting to leave for class.
The tree house is getting closer.
Reading to her pup.
Legos. Legos. Legos.
Today Teague realized he could read Kaitlyn’s books to her.
Reading with Mom.
Teague and I started out making cookies and Kaitlyn joined us before too long. Teague was happy to give her a lesson in scooping out the cookie dough!
