Wade hung this chalkboard in his office and decided it was also the perfect place to use his giant googly eyes. Then he kept talking about needing chalk. The boys heard this and Alex decided to provide some chalk. When he took chalk to Wade’s office he also drew a face to go with the googly eyes. Now most days after school Alex draws a new face for Wade. After work Wade checks the face and talks to Alex about it. After the boys are in bed Wade erases the face and the next day Alex draws a new one. It’s the little traditions in life…

I love this tradition. On a side note, Walt put a single googly eye in my crock pot at some point, and I though, “when did Wade visit?’ when I found it.
