How can I say no to a request for “Holly Jolly” song?
Month: December 2014
Those eyes.
Tonight at Family Fun Night at our church the kids were decorating plates. Lila (about 10 months) was fascinated with the earpiece of Alex’s glasses and kept trying to grab it. He was very tolerant and just let her keep trying to reach it.
Teague definitely gets more laughs from Kaitlyn than anyone else (and got her first giggle too). Today he would put his head on her tummy and she would laugh and laugh while grabbing his hair.
Dad brought singing snowmen home from work.
“I’ll entertain Kaitlyn”
She’s not quite sitting up on her own, but she’s close.
It is well publicized that you shouldn’t leave an unsupervised baby in the Bumbo on a counter, but I didn’t really understand why. I only use the Bumbo till the baby can sit up on their own. Their feet don’t touch the counter and they don’t have a lot of control or wiggling yet. Then today I turned around and realized Kaitlyn had successfully turned herself so that one foot was on the counter. Then I watched her push off with that foot and scoot the Bumbo along the counter. Okay. I get it. Do not leave baby unattended in the Bumbo on the counter.
At least his head should be warm.
Teague normally waits till Alex gets home to have his afternoon snack. He does want first choice so he hides in the cabinet the minute I see the bus.
I’m thinking overstimulation?
