Teague had surgery scheduled this morning for 7:30. Dr. Lyon came in early to do the surgery and planned a quick procedure to roll the eyelid outwards. The anesthesiologist was fantastic and talked with us a long time before deciding how to put Teague to sleep. Due to the nature of the procedure and his past history waking up, she recommended an IV anesthesia.
The surgery was over very quickly and Teague woke up slowly, but without incident?!?! Everyone was pleasantly surprised and Teague even got the offered snacks. (He’s normally to out of it or screaming too much for the treats.) We packed up pretty quickly and headed home.
